Dr. Margarita Russolello, DACM, L.Ac. is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, integrative medicine provider, and executive leadership coach who has spent the last decade of her life studying evidence-based medicine and holistic healing traditions across the globe. She has worked with companies such as Audible, Two Sigma, Lululemon, and D.E. Shaw, and is an acupuncturist, herbalist, medical provider, and coach to founders, celebrities, Olympic athletes, wellness influencers, and everyday people in NYC and virtually.
Prior to opening up her practice, she worked at Tia — an integrative medicine startup bridging primary care, acupuncture, and mental health therapy for accessible, whole person care. Here, she managed a caseload of 40-60 clients per week, treating complex cases in gynecology, endocrinology, psychiatry, and dermatology.
She founded Sanu Acupuncture PLLC in 2019, where she has created an innovative clinical care model centering whole person wellness, from physical health to mental health. In addition to offering healthcare, she is a yoga and meditation teacher, Buddhist practitioner, breathwork facilitator, and social justice advocate offering her a breadth of insights into radical empathy, social change, innovative leadership, and revolutionary practices. She centers the liberation of all beings in her work, and has a particular affinity for working in sectors of addiction, codependency, LGBTQIA health, mental illness, and intimate partner violence.
Outside of this, she treats obstetrics and pregnancy, gynecology and hormones, prenatal and postpartum, fertility, sleep and digestion, autoimmune issues, orthopedics, chronic pain, dermatology, and sexual wellness. In addition to private sessions, she works with couples, corporations, and teams in businesses, workplaces, and schools.
