Hello and welcome to Sanu Acupuncture!

Please read the following before booking with Dr. Margarita –

  1. Open booking hours are T/W/Th 10am-6pm. We offer 9-10am and 6-8pm by request. Please email margarita@sanuacupuncture.com to check availability for these sessions.

  2. Dr. Margarita specializes in fertility, reproductive medicine, and perinatal care, however she also supports a wide range of orthopedic and internal medicine concerns including pain management, hormonal balance, digestion, sleep, and mental health.

  3. We are now offering Essential Acupuncture sessions of 50 minutes for returning patients who are on a straightforward treatment plan and do not require an intake at each session. This is intended as an affordable and streamlined option.

  4. If you need cupping, gua sha, or weekly intakes of 10 minutes or more, please continue to book 60 minute follow-ups.

Dr. Margarita Russolello
(She/Her/Hers) DACM, L.Ac.

Dr. Margarita Russolello, DACM, L.Ac. is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine specializing in evidence-informed acupuncture, TCM, and herbal medicine for fertility, reproductive medicine, pregnancy, and postpartum. She also supports a wide range of orthopedic and internal medicine concerns including hormonal health, pain management, and mental wellness through personalized, integrative care.

She received her doctorate in 2019 from Pacific College of Health and Science, and worked as a full-time acupuncturist at Tia upon graduation - a women’s health clinic bridging OBGYN and holistic models. She founded her private practice, Sanu Acupuncture, in 2021 to prioritize individualized patient-centered care.

Prior to graduation, she worked as a Birth and Postpartum Doula and completed internships at the Labor and Delivery Unit at NYU Lutheran Hospital and The Institute for Family Health. Prior to attending acupuncture school, she was a case worker for survivors of intimate partner violence, professional dancer, and community organizer, offering her a breadth of insights into culturally competent care.
